True single-molecule PCR

Precise quantification of single molecules in hours, not days

Step 1

Prepare PCR mix

Just like any PCR setup, prepare the Countable PCR reaction mix.

Step 2

Set up spin assembly

Prepare spin column assembly using supplied spin columns, PCR tubes, and swing buckets. First, dispense emulsion reagents into the PCR tubes. Next, pipette the Countable PCR reaction mix into the spin columns.

Step 3

Partition using a benchtop centrifuge

30+ million partitions per sample are generated within 20 minutes directly into the PCR tubes via centrifugation.

Step 4

Amplify using a thermal cycler

Cap the PCR tubes and ampilfy using a benchtop thermal cycler.

Step 5

Image molecules via 3D light sheets

Place the PCR tubes in the Countable system for the imaging of the entire reaction volume using 3D light sheets.

Step 6

Analyze using automated pipelines

The Countable system automatically images and identifies signals from single molecules.
